Where your passport is damaged, you should apply for a new one.

Application can be submitted at the nearest Immigration Department of Malaysia by submitting the application for a replacement.

However, the approval will depend on the decision of the panel.

WHAT IS A MALAYSIA RESTRICTED PASSPORT ?

A Malaysia restricted passport is a passport issued to citizen of Malaysia for the purpose of traveling between West Malaysia and Singapore.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR A RESTRICTED PASSPORT AND WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS ?

You can apply for a Malaysia restricted passport if you are a Malaysian citizen

  • 18 years and above and possess an identity card or police or army identity card
  • below 18 years, if you are married, and posses and identity card and marriage certificate
  • below 18 years, if father still alive, and posses an identity card, if any, birth certificate and identity card of father
  • below 18 years, if father deceased, and possess and identity card, if any, birth certificate, death certificate of father and identity card of mother
  • below 18 years, if parents deceased, and posses an identity card, if any, birth certificate, death certificate of parent and statutory declaration of guardianship
  • below 18 years, if parents separated and father cannot be contacted and posses identity card, if any, birth certificate, identity card of mother and court's order for custody of child
  • below 18 years, if adopted child, and posses identity card, if any, identity card of legal guardian and certificate of adoption certifying child's citizenship status.
