Main Category Related Topics WHAT IS IDENTIFICATION CERTIFICATE CARD ?Identification certificate card or IMM. 63 card is a card issued to government servants who are traveling to Sabah or Sarawak on official duty. The card is only valid for 6 months from the date of issue. WHAT IS A CERTIFICATE OF STATUS AND HOW DO I APPLY FOR ONE ?The certificate of status is a document issued to a person who has a claim for "Right of Entry" as a citizen of Malaysia from abroad. Applicant can be submitted by a local sponsor in any Immigration Department in West Malaysia, Sabah or Sarawak by producing documentary evidence as to the person's Malaysian status. This document is valid for 6 months from the date of issue and can be extended provided the reason given is reasonable. The Director General has the discretion to extend the validity of the certificate provided that the holder still has a claim for Malaysian status. Application can be made by submitting the following documents :
